CAT 2025: A Complete Guide

CAT 2025: A Complete Guide

CAT (Common Admission Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted annually by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission to postgraduate, doctoral, and executive management programs. Renowned for offering premier management education, IIMs use CAT scores along with Personal Interviews and Written Ability Tests/Group Discussions to shortlist candidates based on merit. This computer-based test evaluates quantitative ability, verbal skills, data interpretation, and logical reasoning. Open to all graduates, CAT also serves as an eligibility criterion for top B-Schools across India, including IITs and IISc. Held in November, it requires 3-4 months of dedicated preparation.
