To register, candidates must visit mcc.nic.in, select UG Medical Counselling 2026, register using NEET UG application details, enter personal and academic information, pay the counselling fee, fill and lock college and course choices, and save the application.
NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates can participate in both MCC AIQ counselling and State Quota counselling. Registration for both is separate. MCC handles 15% AIQ seats, while states generally conduct counselling for the remaining 85% State Quota seats, subject to applicable rules.
For tie-breaking, NTA gives preference to higher Biology marks, followed by Chemistry and Physics marks. If the tie continues, the candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect answers is preferred. The final NEET UG All India Rank (AIR) prepared by NTA is used by MCC for seat allotment.
