Established in 2007, Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) is a premier dental institution under the Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Group (KVEG), founded by Thiru S. Regupathy, B.Sc., B.L., Former Minister of Forests and current Minister of Law, Government of Tamil Nadu. The educational group began its journey in 1993 with a vision of providing quality education and developing socially responsible professionals. Today, the institution continues to flourish under the leadership of Dr. R. Annamalai, MS (Ortho), M.Ch (UK), who guides the group’s commitment to academic excellence, healthcare, and research.
KIDS is dedicated to delivering world-class dental education through a rigorous academic environment, advanced clinical training, and extensive community engagement. The institution is affiliated with a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem that includes the Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), allowing dental students to receive in-depth medical science training using state-of-the-art facilities. The college operates a 250-chair dental hospital equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technologies, enabling students to gain extensive clinical exposure while providing quality dental care to patients.
