Admissions for MBBS 2026 are now open for eligible candidates seeking quality medical education in Kerala. The college is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Initially established with 100 MBBS seats, the institution later increased its intake to 150 seats, and from the 2024–25 academic year, the Central Government approved an intake of 250 MBBS seats, enabling more aspiring doctors to pursue their medical education at KMCT.
