Elims College of Arts and Science, located at Ponganamkad, Kurichikkara, Thrissur, is a premier self-financing institution established in 2014 and managed by the Elim Charitable and Educational Trust, Ernakulam. Situated just 7 km from Thrissur town and adjacent to the Kerala Police Academy, the college offers a serene and student-friendly learning environment. Affiliated with the University of Calicut, Elims is dedicated to nurturing academically excellent, morally responsible, intellectually brilliant, and socially conscious graduates. The institution offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Commerce, Management, and Computer Science, including BBA, BCA, and B.Com courses. The college received AICTE approval for the academic year 2024-25, with an approved intake of 120 seats for BBA and 100 seats for BCA.

The college campus is equipped with modern infrastructure and learning facilities, including two academic blocks, a seminar hall, smart classrooms, language and computer laboratories, high-speed internet connectivity, a canteen, and hostel facilities. The fully automated library, managed through the KOHA Integrated Library System, serves as a knowledge hub with a collection of 9,021 volumes, 17 journals, 14 magazines, project reports, reference materials, previous-year question papers, and access to digital resources such as N-LIST and SWAYAM. Supported by two library staff members, the library functions from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on working days.
The college also maintains a well-equipped computer laboratory with 30 internet-enabled computers, along with printing, scanning, and photocopying facilities to support ICT-enabled teaching and learning. Students benefit from separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls, complete with mess facilities, reading rooms, indoor games, and round-the-clock security. The college canteen offers hygienic and affordable food options for students and staff from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Elims places significant emphasis on quality enhancement through its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), which regularly organizes academic and skill-development programs. Notable initiatives include cybersecurity awareness sessions conducted in collaboration with REDTEAM Hacker Academy, orientation programs for new students, parenting awareness workshops, Aadhaar awareness campaigns, and community engagement activities in association with local government bodies.
