My experience at Government Engineering College Thrissur has been fantastic. The campus is ragging-free and offers a student-friendly environment, making it a great place for learning. With NAAC A+++ accreditation, the college maintains high academic standards, and placement opportunities are excellent, with top companies like L&T and Sobha hiring students. Internships are guaranteed for all students, with support from the faculty. The infrastructure is impressive, with well-equipped labs, libraries, spacious classrooms, and good hostel facilities. The faculty, many from prestigious institutions like NITs and IITs, provide a practical, student-centered approach to learning. The campus also hosts tech and cultural fests, workshops, and student clubs, ensuring a well-rounded experience.

Government Engineering College Thrissur offers good infrastructure, including labs, hostels, a library, sports facilities, auditoriums, and recreational spaces. Campus life and social activities are enjoyable. The academic courses are well-planned under the KTU syllabus, with experienced and helpful faculty, some of whom are exceptional. Scholarships are available, and the active placement cell conducts workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and mock interviews. The tuition fees are low, and the college has a solid placement record. The overall experience, culture, and events make it a great place to be a part of. I thoroughly enjoyed the campus life, events, and tech fests, and the education was top-notch.

I pursued a B.Tech in Production Engineering, which is an advanced and deep course that encourages self-learning. The faculty members are experienced and always willing to help. While placements were lower in my graduation year compared to previous years, the highest offered package was 15 LPA, which is remarkable. The college offers minimal placement training, so students might need to rely on external resources for additional preparation.

IÒ€ℒm pursuing Civil Engineering at Government Engineering College Thrissur, and the placement offers are great, with MNCs and private companies hiring students, often with offers above 10 LPA. The infrastructure is good, although the hostels could be improved, but food, Wi-Fi, and the canteen are excellent. The library is easily accessible. The faculty is well-educated and helpful, but the tight academic schedule sometimes limits their availability. The exams are challenging but manageable. Overall, itÒ€ℒs a great college, and I would highly recommend it.
