B.E./B.Tech at NCERC offers strong faculty, good infrastructure, and a solid placement record with companies like Wipro, Infosys, and Byju's. However, strict rules, limited autonomy, and lower pass percentages are some drawbacks. Despite these, students can thrive with focus on studies and extracurriculars, especially in mechatronics and computer science.

NCERC has been a great experience for me, especially with its autonomous status and strong placement opportunities. Last year, companies like TCS, Wipro, Tata, and Apollo hired students, with an average package of 6 LPA. With a 7 CGPA, students like me can also apply for placements, and I'm excited about the growing number of opportunities in the future. The Mechatronics department is one of the highlights, with excellent facilities like the Mechatronics and Net labs, as well as CAD and CAM tools. The hostel, located nearby, offers good food and free Wi-Fi, while the campus also has a large sports ground. The faculty members are well-qualified, having completed their Master's in relevant subjects, and they provide strong academic support. Exams are held every six months, and passing requires a score of 40 out of 100. Overall, my time at NCERC has been positive and rewarding.

In my experience as a mechanical engineering student, the college offers great infrastructure with modern facilities, well-maintained labs, and comfortable hostel accommodations. While around 60% of students were placed, with Ashok Leyland being the top recruiter, I believe the placements could improve with more skill development. The exams are challenging, and the syllabus could benefit from an update to stay aligned with industry trends. Despite these challenges, mechanical engineering is a great course here, offering solid placement opportunities. Overall, it’s been a positive experience with a lot of room for growth.

Nehru College of Engineering and Research Center has provided me with an exceptional academic and campus experience. The admission process was straightforward, and meeting the eligibility requirements allowed me to join this top institution. The faculty is highly supportive, with dedicated tutors and organized extra hours like placement and department activities that enhance our learning. The campus life is vibrant, with events like Brahma and Ashwametha, and excellent facilities such as two gyms, a spacious cafeteria with vegetarian options, and well-equipped libraries. The overall environment is welcoming and conducive to both academic and personal growth, making this college an excellent choice for engineering studies.

I chose Computer Science Engineering at NCERC due to my passion for technology, and the first year provided a general overview of all engineering streams. The faculty is supportive, though some are less dedicated to industry readiness. The course fees are affordable at INR 57,000 per year. Internship opportunities are available through student organizations like IEEE, but students must actively search for good placements. Around 70% of CS students get placed in companies like Infosys and TCS with an average salary of INR 3.5 lakh per year. Campus life is vibrant with events like Bloom, though sports activities are limited due to academic priorities. The hostel has good facilities, though the food could be improved. Overall, it’s a great college with plenty of opportunities.
